Wise, formerly known as TransferWise, is an online payments and money transfer service company that was founded in 2011. The online payments company now serves 6 million customers in 59 counties. O this page, we will try to give you some information about Wise company.

What Are the Services Offered by Wise?

Before we start, we need to state that Wise services only support transfers to banks. The money transfer service doesn’t have a cash pickup option other than in Asia. There is no minimum amount when it comes to international money transfer services

but there is a maximum amount you can send depending on your currency. If you are sending from GBP, the maximum you can send is 1,000,000 GBP. General money transfers take between 1 and 2 days. But in some cases depending on the country, online payment services can take up to 4 days. With the app, you can accept payments online and track transfers 24/7.

There are a couple of different ways you can add money to the balances in your account. The first way you can add money to a balance is from your Wise account. The other way you can add money to your balance is by bank transfer

  1. Log into Wise and go to Balances
  2. Click on the currency you’d like to add money to and click "Add Currency"
  3. Choose how much you want to add and the currency you’d like to pay with
  4. Select how you’d like to pay, and click Continue to payment
  5. Depending on how you’d like to pay, you’ll be guided through the payment steps

There are a couple of ways that you can withdraw or send money from your balances.

One option is to go to the balances tab in your account and send it from any balance.

  1. Go to Balances in your account
  2. Choose a currency that you have money in, and that you’d like to send from
  3. Click on Send
  4. Enter the amount you want to send, choose a recipient and enter a reference

Another option is to make a transfer as you normally would, and choose to send from your balances at the payment step.

  1. Click on Send money
  2. Set up a transfer by going through the steps as you normally would
  3. At the payment step, choose the Balance transfer option
  4. You may need to enter your Wise password, or use fingerprint or facial recognition, to finish sending money
